Billy O'Neil

Billy has his roots in British Columbia, had lived for eight years in Red Deer, and has now relocated to Calgary. Billy has played in Pipe Bands continually since a very young age, playing competitively on both snare and bagpipes. Billy provides enlightened solos on the accordion, bagpipes and whistles, plays the didgeridoo and takes on some lead and back-up vocal duty as well.

Dave Best

Dave was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and made his home in Central Alberta a number of years ago. Dave is a vital on-stage member providing bass, guitars, bouzouki, bagpipes and back-up vocals. Dave also provides the band with his computer savvy for their web site as well as completing all of the recording and mixing for their CD projects.

Dwayne Marsden

Dwayne moved to Red Deer from Ramea Island, Newfoundland. Since his move from the east coast, he has become one of the bands' lead singers, and has given the band a strong Newfoundland presence. Dwayne also plays guitar, bouzouki, banjo and mandolin.

Glenn MacLeod

Glenn was born and raised in Saskatchewan and has made Red Deer his home for a number of years. Glenn has been performing on stages in a variety of roles for most of his life as an actor, a member of various pipe bands as well as barber-shop quartets. He shares lead vocals, providing the band with a wonderful vocal talent as well as playing guitar, mandolin, harmonica, whistles, percussion and bagpipes.

Justin Stewart

Justin was born and raised on Cape Breton Island. He has spent much of his adult life as a professional musician, travelling to such destinations as the Carribean, the US, Europe and all over Canada (but not Hawaii!). He has played with many popular Maritime acts including Kilt, Bruce Guthro, Jimmy Rankin, and Ashley McIssac to name a few. After settling into Red Deer, he has kept busy in the local music community before finding a home with St. James' Gate in late 2007. Justin plays guitar, mandolin & provides lead and backing vocals.
